Easter is the time of year we think of past memories of the Easter Season and what it means to all of us.

We are going to use these on our Easter Dinner Table. We are going with a brown chocolate theme along with woodsy Spring Decor.

Felt Chocolate Scatter Bunnies

Supplies for 8 Felt Bunnies

*4 9×12 inch Sheets of Brown Felt
*Bunny Pattern below
*Straight Pins
*Scissors
*Sewing Machine with Brown Thread
*Stuffing Tool
*8 Plastic Grocery Bags, each bag cut into 4 pieces, 1 bag per bunny

Print out and cut out bunny pattern.

Pin pattern onto felt, and cut out 16 bunnies a bit larger than pattern.

Pin together 2 felt bunnies, sew around edge using the sewing foot on the sewing machine as your guide, leaving an opening in the bottom to stuff with plastic grocery bag.

Stuff pieces of 1 bag one at a time into the sewn bunny until firm and then sew closed the opening.

Clip off any edges that poke out irregularly.

Use any color of ribbon or jute and tie a bow around the neck of the bunny.

Repeat until all bunnies are sewn, stuffed and decorated. You could also use a small Pom Pom for the tail and hot glue it on.

You can also see another felt bunny Here.

Sew around the edge of the fabrics, right sides together, using the edge of your walking foot as a guide lined up with the edge of your layered fabric. Using a medium Stitch, on my machine it was set on 3. Leave about a six inch opening to turn right side out. Use a corner tool to push out corners. Top stitch around the edge and this will close up the 6 inch opening.
