Cookie Wagons
Supplies needed for Eight Wagons:
*2 boxes Caramel Coconut and Fudge Cookies
**1 box Cloud Cakes
*2 boxes Peanut Butter Bars
*1 package Fudge Striped Cookies
*3 squares of Almond Bark
*1 box Junior Mints
The pictures shows Black String Licorice but I chose not to use them, you could use them on the covered wagon Cloud Cakes. See a picture of it here.
** The Cloud Cakes will dry out and become hard in a couple of hours, so if you want to eat them you will need to make them right before your party begins or make the base and then add the Cloud Cakes just before serving them.
Melt 2 squares of chocolate at a time in a microwave safe cup until melted, every microwave is different but mine I set for 30 seconds and then checked on the chocolate and then another 10 seconds and then intervals of 5-10 seconds until melted.
The chocolate is the glue to hold the wagons together. I spread the melted chocolate on the backside of one of the wafer cookies (You will need 2 wafer cookies for each wagon.) with a knife. Then put the second wafer cookie on top of the first cookie backsides together and then add the wagon wheels to the wafer side of the cookies and let dry before adding wheels to the other side.
Then with the melted chocolate add the Junior Mints to the center of the Cookie Wagon Wheels.
When all wagons are dry add the Cloud Cakes to the top. I slanted the ends of the Cloud Cakes by cutting them with a knife to make them look more like a wagon Cover.
Finished Covered Wagons.
Enjoy!
