Pepperoni Pizza Pull-Apart Bread

Pepperoni Pizza Pull- Apart Bread

Recipe makes two 9 inch loaf pans or three to four 7  3/8 x 3  3/8 loaf pans.

*
*1/2 cup warm Water (105-110*F.)

*1 1/2 tablespoons instant Yeast

*4 teaspoons Sugar

*5 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour (Bread Flour can be used but makes a dense bread)

*2/3 cup Milk

*1 cup salted Butter, room temperature

*1 teaspoon Sea Salt

*4 eggs

*
Pizza Bread Toppings (for two bread loaves):

*
*1 cup Marinara Sauce or your favorite Pizza Sauce

*1/2 cup minis Pepperoni’s

*2 cups grated Monterey Jack Cheese or Mozzarella Cheese

*1/4 teaspoon crushed Red Pepper Flakes or to taste, sprinkled over toppings

*
Butter Garlic Topping:

*2 tablespoons Butter

*1 tablespoon extra light Olive Oil

*1 clove Garlic, minced or pressed

*
Bread Dough Instructions:

In a stand mixer with bowl, add the warm water, yeast and sugar and allow to rise until bubbly.

*
Then add 1/2 cup of the flour to coat the yeast mixture. Then add: Milk, butter, sea salt and eggs (adding one at a time) while mixing on medium speed. Slowly adding the remaining flour until a slightly sticky ball. (Add more flour if needed.)

*
Remove Dough from mixing bowl and place in a greased mixing bowl.

*
Cover the dough with a slightly damp flour cloth dish towel and allow to rise until double in bulk, about 1 hour.

*
Roll out pizza dough  into a rectangular shape. Spread on the pizza sauce and the remaining bread pizza toppings. (Cut edges off rolled rectangular pizza dough for more uniform squares in loaf pan and discard (only if desired, I just used the edges). Use a pizza dough cutter to cut squares with toppings, stacking 3-4 squares at a time and placing the stacks in loaf pans on their side until pan is full. Brush the loaf with garlic butter topping see garlic butter topping. Bake as described below.

*
Garlic Butter Topping:

*

In heated skillet on medium heat add the butter, olive oil and garlic and  sauté for 1-2 minutes.

*
Brush the top of bread loaves with butter and garlic mixture, after baking for 15 minutes. Then continue baking for another 15-20 minutes and brush again with butter garlic mixture, after baking and enjoy warm!

Wheat Cinnamon Pizza Crust

Proofing Yeast:

*2 tablespoons Honey

*1 1/2 cups Warm Water

*1 tablespoon active Dry Yeast

Dissolve Honey in warm water and add the dry yeast and let rise until bubbly.

Add dry ingredients along with:

*1 teaspoon Salt

*1 tablespoon Light Olive Oil

Dry Ingredients:

*2 cups Whole Wheat Flour

*1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

*1  1/2 teaspoons Cinnamon

Knead together all the above ingredients for about 10 minutes or until dough becomes smooth and elastic. Cover dough in a greased bowl and let rise for an hour or until double in bulk.

After rising divide dough into two balls and roll out two thin crusts or make one extra-large crust.

I used an extra-large pizza Pan. I like to use a pizza pan that has holes in the bottom and spray well with cooking spray. (You can also use a very small amount of corn meal on the bottom of any pizza pan to help with sticking. )

Note: Fold over the edge of the pizza if you like a thick Crust.

Bake the pizza crust at 500*F for 3 minutes, then remove pizza crust from the oven lowering the temperature to 425*F. And add the sauce, peach slices and blackberries to partially cooked crust and bake another 8-10 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove pizza from oven add the cheese if desired on top of pizza or cut pizza into slices , plate and drizzle or pipe on cream cheese frosting and Enjoy!

Peel the peaches and then slice them whole attached to the pit and then rove slices.
