Banana Bars
Cream together:
1 cup Butter softened
1 cup Sugar
Add:
4 Eggs
2 cups Sour Cream or 1 pint Whipping Cream or 2 cups Greek Yogurt
2 teaspoons Vanilla
Beat together.
Add:
4 cups Whole Wheat Pastry Flour or 4 cups All Purpose Flour
1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoon Soda
Stir in:
4-5 Bananas Mashed or 2 cups
Bake at 350*F. for 25 minutes until golden brown and/or test with tooth pick in the center to make sure the center is done.
Grease or spray a Bakers Half Sheet (13 x18 inches Baking Sheet)
Cool completely and frost with Cream Cheese Frosting.
Cream Cheese Frosting
Cream together:
8 oz. Cream Cheese Softened or a light Cream Cheese
1/2 cup softened Butter
2 teaspoons Vanilla
Add: 4 cups Powdered Sugar or more if needed.
Beat together just until all ingredients are mixed well, don’t over beat.
These will freeze well, up to 3 weeks in the freezer. These are great served cold from the fridge too.

Banana Bar ingredients.
Beaten wet ingredients in the bowl and I mashed the Bananas with a potato ricer. ( You could also use a fork or hand potato masher.)
Spread Banana dough onto greased baking sheet.

Ingredients for the frosting.
Cream all together.
Beat frosting just until all ingredients are incorporated.
Cut and enjoy!
