Chuck Wagon Bacon Baked Beans

**Dutch Oven with no legs

*
*2 cans (28 ounce) Maple Cured Bacon Baked Beans, like Bush

*
*1 pound bacon, cooked and cut into inch pieces

*1 pound lean Ground Beef, cooked and the following seasonings mixed in before cooking:

Beef Seasoning

*
*2 tablespoon Dried Minced Onions

*1 tablespoon Dried Minced Garlic

*1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder

*1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

*1/4 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes

*Sea Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste

*

Vegetables

*
*1 large Onion, chopped

*1 of each Red, Yellow, Orange Bell Peppers, chopped

*2-3 tablespoons Extra Light Olive Oil or reserved bacon grease

*

Sauce

*
*2 tablespoons Bottled Minced Onions or dried

*1/4 cup Brown Sugar

*1/2 cup Ketchup

*1/2 cup Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce, or your favorite

*1 tablespoons Soy Sauce

*2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce

*3-4 tablespoons Stone Ground Mustard

Combine the above sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.

Cook bacon in the Dutch oven then remove cooked bacon and set on paper towels. Drain the bacon grease (save for 2 tablespoons for sautéing onions and bell peppers) from Dutch. Then Cook the seasoned hamburger until no longer pink. Remove cooked hamburger, drain off any excess fat.

Sauté the onions in olive oil or bacon grease for 2-3 minutes then add bell peppers and sauté another 2 minutes. Then add back into the Dutch oven:  The chopped cooked bacon, cooked hamburger, sauce and baked beans.  Mix until combined Simmer on low for about 30 minutes.

Apple Pork Chops Crock Pot Style

***Crock Pot

***Slow Cooker Liner, for easy clean up

*
Note: Searing is optional but gives a better flavor to the Pork Chops

*
*2 and 1/2 pounds Thin Pork Chops (around 7), seared

*2 tablespoons Butter

*2-3 tablespoons Extra Light Olive Oil

*Seasoned Salt and Fresh Ground Black Pepper

*Pinch Red Pepper Flakes or to taste

**4 Gala Apples, peeled and sliced

**12 ounce can Ginger Ale or Sprite

Season pork chops with salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. Then sear seasoned pork chops in a cast iron skillet with butter and olive oil, on medium heat, searing 3 to 4 pork chops at a time. (3 to 4 minutes per side.)

Cinnamon Sauce

*
*1/4 cup Butter, melted

*1/4 cup Brown Sugar

*1 teaspoon Cinnamon

*1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

*1/8 teaspoon Paprika

*Pinch Red Pepper Flakes or to taste

In a bowl combine the cinnamon sauce ingredients. Set aside.

Using a Crock pot with liner, pour in the ginger ale. Then layer starting with sliced apples, seared pork chops and 1/2 of the cinnamon sauce and spread on pork chops, repeat layering a second time and top with sliced apples. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or to your crock pot instructions.
