Aioli Sauce

Eggless Aioli Sauce

*4 Cloves Garlic, pressed or grated

*16 ounces Giardiniera (pickled vegetables), Hot/Spicy if desired, drained

*2 Tablespoons Stone Ground Mustard

*1 teaspoon Fresh Lemon Juice

*1/2 cup Extra Light Olive Oil, drizzle in a little at a time

*Water, add to desired Consistency

*SeaSalt and Freshly Ground Pepper, to taste

In a food processor pulse together the garlic, pickled vegetables, mustard and Lemon juice. Then on medium low speed drizzle in the olive oil adding water as needed. Salt and pepper to taste.

Use aioli sauce on sandwiches like: Pulled Pork, Shredded Beef and sub sandwiches etc…

Baked Jalapeño Egg Rolls

 

Baked Jalapeño Egg Rolls

Makes 12

*
*6 mozzarella String Cheese/Cheese Sticks, unwrapped and cut in half

*6 Large Jalapeños

*1 package Wonton Wrappers, like 12 ounce Nasoya Won Tons

*Extra Light Olive Oil

*

*1/2 Baking Sheet

*Silpat or Parchment Paper

*
Note:  Use disposable food gloves to protect hands when cutting Jalapeños. Jalapeños are Hot/spicy and avoid rubbing eyes etc….

Cut of the ends of the jalapeños and cut them in half. Make one cut down one side of each cut jalapeño making a slit to slip in the halved cheese stick/string Cheese. Wrap in egg roll wrapper. Repeat for each cheese filled halved jalapeño.

*Egg Roll Wrap (fold them as directed on package.) After folding brush the top and bottom of the Egg Roll with Extra Light Olive Oil. Place the Egg Rolls on baking sheet.

Bake Egg Rolls in a preheated 350*F. oven for 15 minutes or until they start to turn brown on the corners. Then using tongs, turn over egg rolls and bake another 5-10 minutes.
