These are ladybugs we put out to eat the aphids that get on my plants each year. When it gets dark in the evening I put them out by plants that have aphids and sprinkle water around them for a drink and then they go bed down for the night. Some of them will fly away in the morning when it gets light but enough them will stay around to eat aphids.

First of the garden: Lettuce, Spinach, Peas and Strawberries.

A salad spinner is really nice to have when cutting lettuce from the garden to wash off all the bugs or soil that might of hitched a ride on the leaves.
