The Super Bowl Sunday is coming this weekend and we like to celebrate with creative football food with family. Pinterest is full of different football ideas and this week we will be posting our take on the football ideas.

Football Sandwich Cookies

*Homemade Oreo Cookie Dough

*Add a small amount of flour to dough if needed to roll out dough. Being careful not to overwork the dough.

*Roll dough out on a flat powdered sugar dusted mat or counter surface and cut into football shapes (Being careful not to overwork the dough).

*See the above recipe on baking, frosting for the sandwich cookies.

*Pipe frosting onto the top football sandwich cookies using a plastic bag with one of the corners cut off; cutting the corner to the size of football strips you want to pipe onto the football sandwich cookies. See pictures below.

French Bread Mummies

*1 Loaf French Bread, pre-made/purchased
*Butter
*Garlic Salt, California Style with Parsley by McCormick
*Monetary Jack Cheese, sliced in 1/2 inch strips
*Olive Ends, 2 per mummy

Cut loaf of French Bread in half-length wise, butter and slice into 2-3 inch pieces.

Top French Bread with butter, garlic salt and crisscrossed cheese strips.

Toast/broil in oven until cheese is melted. Add 2 olive ends to each mummy for eyes. Enjoy!
