Graveyard Bones
Supplies need:
*White Melting Wafers (melt 1/2 a cup of wafers at a time)
*Candy Molds, Wilton Graveyard Molds or Walmart or Craft Stores
*Powder Cocoa, for dusting and aged look
*Wax Paper, for handmade bones
*Piping/Pastry Bag, cutting small hole in the tip or use small round decorating tip (you could also use a plastic sandwich bag, cutting a small corner in 1 of the bottom corners)
Handmade Piped Bones
Melt the wafers in a glass cup, filled half way with melting wafers, melt in 30 second intervals and stirring after each interval until melted. Pour or scoop melted wafers into the pastry or plastic bag and pipe on melted wafers onto Cocoa dusted wax paper, making bone hand shapes or bone shapes. Pipe about 1 1/2 inch lines for the bones and then pipe two dots at both ends.
For the hand bones, pipe an upward line and pipe a hand shape at the top of the line making a hand shape. (Make it like you were tracing your hand shape on a piece of paper but in small form.)
Allow for the melted wafer shapes to dry and dip your finger into powder cocoa or you could use a new or a paint brush just used for food decorating. Lightly rub with your finger or brush the cocoa onto dry bones for look desired.
Tombstone Bone Mold
For the tombstone and bone molds dust molds with the powdered cocoa using the same technic as described above, making an aged look and easy release from molds.

Then melt and pour/scoop the melted wafers into molds being careful not to over fill. Allow the to dry completely. I like to refrigerate them until set hard and then remove shapes and use for decorating as desired.
