We love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups at our house, so when I saw these I had to make them for our Christmas Table to set on the “The Little Red Sled” I made a few days ago.

You can also find how to make them from Sweet Simple Stuff

The Little Red Sled

20131220-074156.jpg

I really like the wooden red sleds from days gone by and all the memories of the Holidays sledding down hills. I’ve seen many red sled ornaments, decorated porch sleds and sleds used any Holiday decorating.

These red sleds I saw on Pinterest (Tidbits) and thought I would make some for our Christmas Table.

The Little Red Sled

Supplies Needed:

*Craft Sticks, 4 1/2 “x 5/8″ 1/12″, I found at Michaels
*Mini Craft Sticks, 2 1/2″ x 3/8″ x 1/12”
*Rookwood Red, Americana Acrylic Paint or paint color of your choice
*Burnt Umber Acrylic Paint, Optional
*Foam Brush
*small Hand Drill
*Heavy Duty Scissors
*Jute, I used 10 inch pieces for each sled
*Sand Paper
*Glue Gun, Glue Sticks

See the below pictures on how to assemble.

I hope you will enjoy making “The Little Red Sleds”. This is a fun activity for everyone!
