Wired Sailboat Sail

I needed some sailboats for my table decor for our nautical dinner. So, when I saw these sailboats on the sites listed below and wanted to make some.

Sailboats supplies:

*4-5 different Fabrics
*Fusible Webbing- iron-Pen to trace pattern onto web paper
*White Natural Batting
*Scissors
*Embroidery Floss (I used Ecru)
*Needle
*Wood Skewer
*Heavy Duty Scissors or wire type cutters
*Wire 22 Gauge
*Fabric Punch
*Grommets (optional)
*Wood Ball/Bead (optional)
*Low Temp Glue Gun
*Foam Noodle (cut 1 1/ 2 inch slice of noodle and cut in half. Place in side made boat and glue to attach to the bottom of boat. You can cover noodle slice with fabric just make sure you use low temp glue gun or noodle foam will melt.)
*4 Buttons
*Crochet Thread 3

Whip Stitch the boat pieces together and along top of boat.

Blanket stitch around sails or use wire and use a rolled hem around the wire as you stitch hem.

You can make these boats as simple or as complicated as you like by the way you want to dress them up.

Sprite Chicken Crock Pot Style

*12 frozen Chicken Tenders, thawed in refrigerator
*small bag of Baby Carrots or 1/2 bag of large
*1 medium Onion
*2-3 Cloves Minced Garlic or 1/4 teaspoon dry Minced Garlic or to taste
*6 medium Yellow or Yukon Gold Potatoes sliced
*1 can of Sprite

*Red Pepper Flakes to taste ( I think these are hot so I use about 1/4 teaspoon total and sprinkle a little on the top of each layer.)

Layer the above ingredients in crock pot. The last layer being the potatoes and pour the Sprite over the potatoes with a few onion pieces.

4-6 hours in crock pot depending on your crock pot cooking time. (Mine was cooked in 4 hours on high.)

Salt and Pepper to taste.
