Play Blanket
*2 yards Fleece, from Hobby Lobby
*2 yards Soft N Comfy Bubble Velour Fabric, from Joann’s Fabric
*Straight pins, you will need a lot for this fabric because it moves around easily, see pictures
*Safety Pins, pinning randomly the center of Blanket
*Yarn, for tying, to secure fabrics from pulling apart
*Hand Needles
*Needle Pullers
*Sewing Machine, matching Thread, Walking Foot
*Quilting Frame
You can see a tutorial on how to tie a Quilt here.
Sew around the edge of the fabrics, right sides together, using the edge of your walking foot as a guide lined up with the edge of your layered fabric. Using a medium Stitch, on my machine it was set on 3. Leave about a six inch opening to turn right side out. Use a corner tool to push out corners. Top stitch around the edge and this will close up the 6 inch opening.
Have a good day!
