These are the Jalapeños from our garden. I grew them in pots and then when the weather got to the freezing point I brought them into the garage. I picked them all at once so that I could freeze them.
Jalapeños
*jalapenos, washed
*a pair of Gloves
*Pint Freezer Bags
*Permanent Marker
*Cut up Jalapeños, size of your choice wearing the gloves, being very careful not to touch your eyes or face. (A seed flipped on my face and yes it does burn.)
You might want to also wear glasses to protect your eyes from juices that may squirt out of the peppers. Remove the seeds if you don’t like them really hot.
Place the cut Jalapeños in Pint size Freezer bags and remove as much air as possible and then place the pint size bags into one gallon size bag, label and freeze. (I just grabbed a handful of the cut Jalapeños for each bag guessing it to be about 4 medium Jalapeños.)
You can use them in Sauces, Salsas, and etc….
This is a picture the last Peppers in my garden one Bell Pepper and the rest are Jalapeño Peppers.
Enjoy!
