Green Beans with Turkey Bacon

*Fresh Green Beans, about 60

Bring to boil in a stock pot of water and cook beans until tender about 10-12 minutes. Remove green beans from pot or drain water from green beans and add to the following sautéed ingredients.

Sauté the following:

*2-3 Tablespoons Lite Olive Oil heated in Cast Iron Frying Pan on medium heat for about 30 seconds then add:

*1/2 cup Red Onion, sautéed first

*4 strips Turkey Bacon cooked and chopped
*10 crushed Red Pepper Flakes or to taste

*1 Clove of Garlic, minced
*3 tablespoons Sliced Almonds, chopped

Add garlic and almonds when onions are about translucent and cook until garlic is slightly brown.

Combine the sautéed ingredients with drained green beans and sauté 2 more minutes.

*Salt and Pepper to taste

Serves about 6
