DIY paper boats you can make for a nautical dinner or have your kids make them for a summer activity. I found how to make these a couple of places. marthastewartwedding and ikatbag and here shows how to fold boats countrywoman

I actually used the one from marthastewart. I changed it up a bit to fit my place settings.

Supplies needed:

*Paper of your choice, I used brown wrapping paper 7 1/2 x 9 1/2 inches.
*Wood Skewers cut 5 inches long.
*Blue Bakers Twine I used a homemade kind that I made from crochet thread Bridal White size 3 ( I used a blue sharpie and marked the threads. You can find out how to make it here makeyourownbakerstwineh
*Snipers to cut Skewers or heavy duty scissors would work too.
*Small hole Paper Punch
*Blue Masking Tape or Washi Tape
*White Lifesavers
*scissors
*Plastic Grocery Bags cut into 5×5 inch squares to stuff in the top of boat for stability.

Use the above websites to make the boats and decorate as desired.
