Build a Snowman

The movie “Frozen” was such a good movie and our family loved it, so we wanted to make these for our Winter Dinner but I’m just getting around to making these Olaf’s. I think that these would be fun for kids and grandkids.

You can find how to make them at Bubbly Natures Creations

This is how I made the snowmen and I think these are not the easiest snowman to make at least for me but I think their fun if you’re not too picky about how they turn out.

Build a Snowman

*1 package Powdered Sugar Doughnuts
*Pretzel Sticks
*Chocolate Chips
*Orange Jelly Beans, cut in half
*Eclipse Gum, cut to the size you want his teeth
*White and Chocolate Bark Coating, cups for melting Chocolate in the microwave
*Candy Eyes, I found them at Wal mart or you can make homemade candy eyes, you can learn how to make them at Bear Foot Baker
*Olaf shaped heads for pattern
*Wax Paper
*Plastic bags for Pastry Bags, I found the bags worked well for eyebrows and Mouth but for the white bark coating I used a spoon to form the head shape.

Note: I used Skewers for connecting the head and doughnuts. Place about 1 1/2 inches of the Skewer on the shaped melted chocolate head and cover it with more white chocolate if need and add the other snowman parts while the chocolate is still wet. If you are making a bunch of these yourself only work on one at a time because chocolate dries quickly at least that’s the way it worked best for me. (Cut skewers to the length needed.)

Just have fun making them!

These would be great for a favor at a Winter Dinner

Have a good day!
