Cake Stand and Cute Cup Cake Arrangement

Materials needed:

Thrift store finds of large Glass Serving Dish, A Glass for Stand and
Glue E-6000 or a glue made for glass.

Glue Glass to bottom of the Glass Serving Dish and let dry as instructed with your E-6000 Glue.

Burlap Flower for a Cake

Materials needed:

Burlap
Sewing Machine
Various Dishes or plates for Patterns
Scissors
Permanent marker
Decorative Brad or Button
Needle and Thread

Trace plates out of paper and cut out in various sizes, 6 in all.

Use permanent marker to trace around circles or dishes on Burlap and cut out circles.

Zig zag stitch around each circle to limit fraying.

Baste Stitch in a round circle around the center part of the flower to pull and gather. Do this to each circle.

Layer each circle on top of each other and sew together through the center of gathered flower circles.

Attach Brad or glue on button or sew it on.
