Football Straw Goal Posts

Make some cute Goal Post for a decorative touch to any football party drink.

I used two flexible straws cut to the size to fit a small glass. You can slip the cut two top pieces together connecting them. Then glue the bottom post to the middle of the top post bar or I clipped a hole in the middle of the top post bar and poked the bottom post through the hole until secure. These are decorative only.

Goal Post

Supplies for (2) 13 inch tall Goal Posts

*1/2 inch PVC Pipe, cut in sizes listed below (I used 10 foot PVC Pipe)
*Cut 4, 13 inch pieces, sides
*Cut 4, 5 inch pieces, bottom
*Cut 2, 10 inch pieces, base
*4 SS Elbow 1/2 inch PVC, corners
*2 SS T’s 1/2 inch PVC, middle T connector
*4 Caps 1/2 Inch PVC, cap tops optional
*4 inch tall Empty tin cans (2-28 ounce size), goal stand
*Sand, inside tin cans
*Un-shelled Peanuts, optional

See picture to assemble. Decorate as desired.

**We used brown card stock for football covering on the base of the goal post and white electricians tape for lace on football can.
