This Apple banner is for the month of August/September you could use it for back-to-school decor or apple fall theme that I use in September. The apple banner is a continuing seasonal switch out banner. Supplies needed:

*Homespun Material of your choice
*Natural Batting
*Embroidery Floss of your choice
*Heat and Bond lite
*Iron
*Scissors
*Sewing Machine and Thread
*Patterns of your choice

Oatmeal Raisin Zucchini Cookies

Zucchini Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

*2 cups grated Zucchini, set aside and stir in after you have combined the wet ingredients.

Wet Ingredients:

*1/4 cup Light Olive Oil
*1/2 cup Brown Sugar
*1/2 teaspoon Salt
*1/2 cup Apple Sauce
*1 Egg
*1 teaspoon Vanilla

Whisk together Dry Ingredients:

*3/4 cup Wheat Flour
*1 cup All Purpose Flour
*1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
*1 teaspoon Cinnamon

Mix together the wet and dry Ingredients

Stir in:

*1 1/2 cup Rolled Oats

*1/2 cup Raisins, I usually have raisins that aren’t very moist so I like to add a small amount of water and put in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Scoop dough onto greased /Silpat cookie sheet. Bake at 350* F., for 10-12 minutes in a pre-heated oven.

Recipe makes 2 dozen cookies.
