New Year Ball Drop

**We Made 6 ball drops but you can make more as needed for your New Year Party.

Supplies needed:

*6 Silver Gum Balls, I used an Awl and a manual rotary craft hand drill to make the hole
*Gold Ribbon, I used 3 yards to cover 6 lollipop sticks 4 inch long
*Two Sided Tape
*6 Lollipop Sticks, 4 inches long
*Awl, or other sharp object
* Fiskars Manual Rotary Craft Hand Drill, not electric, I used this so the gum ball wouldn’t crack
*Cinnamon/Orange Rolls or a Cupcake, etc……., base of the ball drop

1. After making the hole in the gum ball I Wrap the lollipop stick with the two sided tape at both ends of the lollipop stick.

2. I started with the end of the lollipop stick that would not have the gum ball and taped the end of the gold ribbon upward on the pop stick and started wrapping over it with the gold ribbon to make it secure, then continued wrapping to almost the top and secured with a small piece of tape and pushed that end into gum ball with the hole.

3. Add to Cinnamon/Orange Roll or Cupcake or desired base of the ball drop.

4. Have a Happy New Year!
